So the Democrats finally found a war worth fighting. Too bad it's about saving their own ass, because they've thrown the Geneva Conventions right out the window for this fight.
Protesting the "docu-drama" (whatever that is) that ABC has planned for the anniversary of 9/11, the entire cast of the Clinton Administration has hit the panic button and flogged the donkey pen of the Democratic leadership into a mess of braying and kicking asses.
The Senate Democratic leadership just threatened Disney's broadcast license. Not[e] the use of the word "trustee" at the beginning of the letter and "trust" at the end. This is nothing less than an implicit threat that if Disney tries to meddle in the US elections on behalf of the Republicans, they will pay a very serious price when the Democrats get back in power, or even before.
This raises the stakes incredibly for Disney.
Indeed it does. And the threats appear to be paying off. ABC has already caved and agreed to some edits. We're certain the Democrats won't stop until they see the entire thing pulled.
As Allahpundit points out, this is exactly the same treatment Stolen Honor, a movie about Vietnam veterans betrayed by John Kerry, received back in 2004
Of course, we know what this means. The Democrats are freaking scared out of their minds that the media may stop covering for them, and that somebody, somewhere may actually begin to question what Clinton was doing for those eight years while all those terror attacks were going on.
